Konstantinos Lontos is a Hematology/Oncology fellow and a graduate student at the Institute for Clinical Research Education (ICRE) of the University of Pittsburgh. He was born and raised in Greece where he received his MD at the University of Athens, School of Health Sciences. He moved to the USA for his residency and he completed 2 years of Internal Medicine training at UPMC. He stayed at UPMC for his Hematology/Oncology fellowship. Konstantinos grew very passionate about hematology since the clinical years of his medical school. He is interested in exploring immunotherapeutic approaches for the treatment of acute leukemias. He joined the lab in the summer of 2018.
