Kristin DePeaux is a graduate student in the Program in Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh. In 2014 she received her B.S. in biochemistry from Stonehill College in North Easton, MA. After undergrad she worked at the Belfer Center for Applied Cancer Science at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute where she became interested in cancer immunology. Kristin joined the lab in March 2018.

Kristin’s project is centered on understanding the mechanism of action of oncolytic viruses. She is focused on how oncolytic virus treatment alters T cells in the tumor microenvironment and the role of metabolism in this process.
