Tianhong “Lisa” Yao is a student of the Experimental Class of Medicine at Tsinghua University (China). She joined the lab in 2022 for scientific research training which is part of her 8-year MD program.
Lisa is interested in tumor immunotherapy and will be studying oncolytic viruses, focusing on how specific oncolytic viruses alters tumor microenvironment and the synergy of oncolytic virus with other immunotherapy like anti-PD1 or anti-CTLA4 therapies.
